Next on the list of book purchases is Maira Kalman's second newest book: Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World). She has a new book called And The Pursuit of Happiness that was published the same year but I've been really putting the purchase of Various Illuminations off for a while now. I'm super excited, she Okay, so I realized maybe you don't know who Maira Kalman is.... Check out some of her pieces down below! :) You could probably recognized some of work from either children's books or The New Yorker.
Finally finished ELLE UK's September issue, not only do I adore Kirsten Dunst but I always find the articles in Britain's mags are always more appealing (well at least to me).
There was an amazing article about career choices which I'm currently faced with day-to-day and I'm sad to say there has been a lot of let downs. I think it's easy to get discouraged and feel unwanted but I've come to realize, it's all about timing and patience. I need to wait, take my time and be satisfied with what I have now and look forward to the future when it presents itself. I would suggest to anyone who is in the slumps about their "career" to read that article, I feel 10x better.
I haven't been updating lately due to my crazy busy schedule. BUT! Here are some recent new purchases :)
i'm doing an assignment for my special event planning class & i'm really excited for it. the objective is to create a brand launch for a brand of our choice. i hope i don't come off by being biased but no matter what Peter Copping does for Nina Ricci, I fall in love, just the way the fabric pleats, falls or folds .. it's so beautiful.
